Texs Impressive Joy
2003 sorrel AQHA mare

Joy is a beautiful sorrel AQHA mare with an April 2008 bay roan AQHA filly at her side. Joy is a very sweet mare and loves attention; she is gentle and well-behaved for the vet and farrier. She had 30 days professional training as a three-year-old, and we have ridden her off and on since that time. Joy is in excellent health and is up to date on her de-worming, vaccinations, and coggins. She was born and here at Tabernacle Quarter Horses where she has been well cared for. Having owned and nurtured her for the past five years, we can attest to the fact that she has never had any health issues, has developed no bad habits, and has been handled in a way that fosters a trust of people. Her dam was one of our most gentle, easy-to-handle horses.

Joy's 2008 filly has been sold. Joy is for sale at $1500, with an optional free breeding back to our blue roan/grey AQHA stallion Lads Patriot Seeker.

Texs Impressive Joy is an August 31, 2003 AQHA sorrel filly. Tested HYPP N/N. She currently stands 14.2 hands, but she may still be growing. Her sire is 15.2 hands and her dam is 16 hands. She has a big teardrop star, a left hind stocking, and right hind pastern. She's a very pretty, flashy filly and a nice mover. She has a very sweet disposition and loves attention. She will come up to greet you in the pasture and follow you around everywhere. On her sire's side she goes back to Impressive, Majestic Dell, Quo Vadis, Royal King, Three Bars, and Rocket Bar. On her dam's side she goes back to King, Poco Bueno, and other legends.

UPDATE 6-26-06: Joy is back from 30 days riding with a professional trainer and is doing great. She is very willing, responsive, and very gentle. With more experience she would make a great family horse. Our trainer also thinks she has potential as a barrel horse. She has nice fluid movement and bends well.  She has been ridden up and down roads and trails.

UPDATE 5-24-08: Joy foaled a grey filly April 8, 2008.  We have not been riding Joy regularly but plan to start her back under saddle after her 2008 filly is weaned.  Until that time, Joy and her 2008 filly will be offered for sale with an optional free breeding back to Patriot for a 2009 foal.
